Award-winning world-class precision shooter Bill Goad opened Premier Accuracy in April 2010. In response to the demand for experienced guidance in custom reloading, load development, and accuracy enhancement in high-grade custom-built rifles, Bill shares his expertise with hunters and shooters of all ages and skill levels.
Bill's interest in hunting and shooting began at an early age in his home town of Prescott, Arizona. At the age of 14, he harvested his first mule deer with one of his own custom handloads. Throughout the years, Bill has hunted a wide variety of species including mule deer, antelope, elk, and whitetails. His diversified hunting experience has fine-tuned his knowledge and understanding of the various cartridge accuracy and energy needs for effectively and humanely harvesting game.
Thanks, Bill. What an amazing job you did on my rifle! I have been shooting for 60 years and always wanted a varmint rifle that shoots really well. You definitely answered my wish. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. Most of the groups I could cover with a dime. The scope I'm using is only 16 power, which makes it even more impressive.
Looking forward to taking it into the field with my grandson. This is indeed PREMIER ACCURACY!
Thank you for everything! Steve
Not only does Bill have an extensive hunting background, but he is also an accomplished competitive shooter. At the age of 16, Bill won a junior division pistol competition at Jeff Cooper's "Gunsite" school (The American Pistol Institute as it was known at the time), and that was the beginning of a steady diet of trips to the "medal stand". He has demonstrated his proficiency with an array of weapons including pistols, shotguns, rifles, and bows and arrows.
Bill has also received honors nationally and internationally. He is recognized as a Centerfire Benchrest Shooter – the highest distinction in the sport. His awards include four World Records with the IBS (International Benchrest Shooters) and the NBRSA (National Benchrest Shooting Association) and two Silver Medals as a member of the USA’s contingent to the World Benchrest Championships at World Benchrest Championship-8 in 2005.
Currently, with 9 Benchrest Hall-of-Fame points to his credit, Bill stands just one point away from the 10 required to earn induction into the prestigious Benchrest Hall-of-Fame.
